    Found this on the net.

    There we go!

After reading the August Spec Sheet, this appears to be what we may get on the update.

Looks like I see a few retrofits amongst us coming...

I'll believe this when I see it. The photos shown are eBay items that have been available for ages - unfortunately they are over priced for questionable quality.

If Toyota did release LED tail lights for the 120 - that would be sweet.

      Drew.
2005 Toyota LandCruiser GRJ120R Prado "Pilbara" (GX+) Petrol V6 5 Speed Auto, ARB AirLocker rear diff locker, Safari Snorkel, Bilstein Shocks, OME 2" Lifted Springs, PolyAir airbags, bash plates, Icom HF Transceiver, Uniden UHF CB, HID and LED lights, Black Duck seat covers, Tekonsha Prodigy trailer brake controller, Redarc Dual Battery Controller, ATS4X4 Side Steps/Rock Sliders.

It is listed in the Aug spec sheet so I am betting that they are releasing them.

The Hunjy has had them since its little upgrade a while back so I guess it makes sense, looks good on the hunjy.

I didn't realise they were on the list of coming upgrades.

After seeing them fitted to the 100 Series, I figured it would be natural for them to end up on the 120 - I was expecting it in the last model update (2006) though. I bet new tail lights from Toyota would be expensive.

I've fitted some decent replacement LEDs to the OEM lights for now and I'm happy with their performance so far.

This is what it states on the spec sheet.

"All grades receive new LED high mount stop lamps."

I found the above pictures on Amazon. Think they were $259US. So I really cannot say if this is what is going in the new models. For all I know it could be the light at the top of the rear window that they are upgrading.

It is my best guess though, because Toyota states "lamps" not "lamp".

              Cheers.

will keep an eye on this one! i found a set of them on flebay a while back listed as "LX 470 brake lights" (probably got that model number wrong)

think i posted something here on it.

i would have bought them back then if the indicators were led too..

Ahh, yeah - dopey me - I forgot to mention those. It's good to see an Australian seller pushing them. The price is still a bit hard to swallow though.

I'd love to see a shot of them installed in a 120, they could either look damn sexy or damn ugly - but I can't tell which!

I've seen the same - and you are right - they look lame as.
