Spare radio wire

Hi Guys,

I have searched through the forums but to no avail

Can anyone tell me what this wire does, when I replaced my head unit on my 2007 D4D I ended up with this spare wire, I traced it & it goes behind the left kick panel & is spliced into the wiring loom, seems to have 5volts at it. The connectors were pluged into the Toyota head unit

The wire I'm talking about is the purple wire with white stripe & brown dots in the photos below

Still need to fit some heavy duty engine & transmision gaurds, snorkel. 9inch headrest monitors

I have looked at that post but the 2007 models have a different plug set up than the earlier models with different wiring
