  • Waeco accessories (12v) cable a little bit loose?

The accessories cable that came with my Waeco CF-50, the one that plugs into the 12/24v socket, plugs in ok but can been easily pulled out. Not that it ever came out but it just doesn't feel rite. I had a look at the socket and the cable and they look fine.

Has anyone else come across this problem?

There was a posting on it ages ago.

As long as it doesnt fall out it should be ok  Otherwise you can change it to the clip in Hella plugs which are more robust.

Please fill out yor location in your profile thanks.

Sorry, my initial post was a bit ambiguous...

I actually meant the socket that plugs into the Waeco 12/24v connection.

My folks had a similar problem with their 12v waeco lead. The socket that plugged into the fridge was a loose fit and was causing havoc with the fridge. The plug looked ok but we tried a new lead and it was as good as gold.

Take your fridge with you (in the Prado) to a waeco retailer and ask to try one of their leads.
