can anyone tell me what colour the speed detection sensor wire is the wire running into th ecu could it be the violet white with red dots wire that runs past the the cd player down behind the glove box 2007 prado 4.0

normally you can pick up a speed signal from the DLC3 (diagnosis) plug under your drivers side dash.

So you need the speed cable goint to the 4x4 ECU? I had cut the speed sensor in the navigation unit under the passenger seat (now I can use the navigator screen to set destination addresses when the car is running, not me 8) , the passenger)
