It is not a silly question, I find it for almost several months because for toyota dealer, they do not know as well.

It is actually inside the glovebox, on the right hand side. Please use the torch to illuminate the glovebox, then it is there.

Ah, so why did I not interpret "around the instrument panel" as in the glovebox.....

So what model Grande's does this apply too ? I have an 04 and couldn't find an audio jack in the glovebox

I think its only in the current model radio, ie the 1 with bluetooth built in the the radio.
