I am no expert but if you see some of the up market cars ie BMW have a real blue look to their lights, i am assuming they do the same and throw a brighter light, i am getting a set for the roo lights.
PS, they are only cool on the right colour car, ie white, silver, blue?? i wouldn't have them on any other colour, just my 2 cents.Rob

HI all
Anyone with the IPF blue covers on the 900XS?
If so, do the covers fit snuggly on the lights? Is there much of a gap between the light glass and the covers?
I have the clear IPF covers which sit close and snug to the lights, but the blue IPF covers ones I just got are sitting a ways off the light and dont seem to fit correctly!!
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

I didn't see this post when I did a search and then a post in a different section, but maybe I will get some replies this way.

It basically comes down to how it looks on the vehicle - There was a study done on Snowplough Operators http://trb.metapress.com/content/npux05470232030v/ but it has more to do with the placement of lights on the vehicle. Other studies such as this one http://www.lightingresearch.org/prog...01-01-0320.pdf have shown that whilst there may be some advantage to using yellow fog lights for driving tasks conventional yellow lights do not offer any advantage.
Looking through the literature I have not been able to identify any advantage for using blue lights.--------------------
