Hi,
I own a 1996 90 series SWB diesel (1KZ-TE) and recently got a new suspension fitted. All stock OEM (original equipment manufacturer).
I now have doubts on the front coils and wanted to know if anybody here can help me getting the original part number for the front coils.
Reason: I had the alignmment done (4th April), my camber and tow was out by a margin and there was visible negative camber up front. All this was fixed.
Now at times I see the negative camber again, mostly in the mornings when the vehicle has been standing over night. (Today in the morning I noticed it, but why I reached work 16kms away on paved and pot-holed roads, it was gone - atleast to the naked eye the wheels looked straight)
On pot holes I feel the tension in the coil being released downwards massively. Is that normal for new ones, will they ease out by time? Can this downforce damage by shocks / shock tower / control arms etc ?
Wanted to know if I have the wrong coils, so needed a part # to match with the ones I have on now.
Unfortunately, here in Pakistan we get subjected to alot of taxes on imported items. My recent quest to get hold or ARM-OME suspension kit was waaaaaay too costly. (comes about to be +65% of the invoice price, with freight price added to it and a 90day shipping lag)
Old one on the left, new on the right.
Would appreciate your help in this.
