Ok,
My journey of discovery into a suspension upgrade is getting to the pointy end. I have several options to choose from at differing price points. Two of my options at a similar price point are a Bilsteins/Lovells combination, and an EFS Elite Shock/EFS Springs combo. Both are in a similar price bracket (based on prices i have been given) with other suggestions coming in cheaper and some more expensive.
Billies are the Aus Spec with the longer rear travel. All springs will be in the medium range - only have allow bull bar, no winch or batteries - Car does not regularly tow or carry load and is a daily commuter driver). Looking for 40mm-50mm lift (although will get more as current standard setup has sagged about 40mm from standard height).
I read reports that the Billies/Lovells combo are great, and also read reports that the EFS gear is sound and is valved for the vehicle and the supplied springs. Both in a similar price bracket.....Is there any reason to lean one way or the other with these combo's?........One is slightly cheaper so if the differences a negligible then I will probably decide on price....
Thoughts?
