5 weeks ago I took my wagon in for its 150000k service. I have a family friend that has done every 10000k service since I bought it (which was at 100000k's). Each 10K service has gone off without a hitch, all has been good. The 150K service was due and the "T-belt" light was illuminated saying it required a timing belt replacement. After the full service was completed I've received a fonecall from my mechanic asking "how long have these engine lights been displayed for"....... whaaaaaaaaat the F&@% I thought! "no engine lights have ever been displayed in the 50000ks I've done in it" I explained to my mechanic. Ever since retrieving my Prado from my mechanic that day I've had reoccurring symptoms which are:

-engine not starting until the 2nd or 3rd attempt
-engine starving for diesel at initial take-off (when I take off in first I have the pedal well pressed and the engine just idle's along for 10-15secs and it will slowly build up revs and momentum)
-cruise control doesn't work
-I'm pretty sure low-range doesn't work

There are 3 lights that are displayed on the dash (all shown in orange)
- the engine light (solid)
- the traction control light (solid) and
- the 4-LO light which is flashing. This thing is my pride and joy but I'm far from proud of it at the moment. Can anyone please offer what advice they may have before I have my car booked into Toyota where they will charge like a wounded bull. Muchly muchly appreciated, Drew
