  • Scangauge on the 150 series

Just curious if anyone has fitted a Scangauge II on the 150 series. The vendor "Ample Outdoors" have yet to test the unit on the 150 series but claim that it should run just like on the 120 series.

    Any information would be appreciated.

I would be interested to see people mount these units as well..... I've finally got one but I'm unsure as to where to mount the unit

I put it on top of the steering column, positioned so to not obscure the dials. The cable goes down the steering column behind the trim. I colour matched the scanguage to the rest of the instruments; it looks neato!
          I'll get some photos shortly.

Are the scan gauges plug n play? Is there any setup involved?

Re: Scangauge on the 150 series

My Scangauge arrived today, anyone installed one in a VX or Kakadu yet? I like the idea of installing it to the steering wheel but it would cause issues when the steering wheel folded away and I do not want to disable this feature as it will come in handy over the next few months with my wifes ever increasing belly  (pregnant with our first, happy days!)

I thought about beside the A-Pillar above the speaker on on the centre console hump above the reverse camera, interested to see where else these neat little gadgets have been installed.

                  Cheers Daniel

Re: Scangauge on the 150 series

Roger I've got it installed on the steering column on my vx and it doesn't interfere with column movement at startup. It's a great spot for it.

Guys, not sure why you're all so keen on photos, as all it involves is double sided taping the scanguage to the colum and running the cable down behind the trim. Installed like this it does not prevent me from seeing anything on the instrument cluster. Anyway, here is a picture:
