    New Beaudesert Exhaust for 150 Petrol V6

    Hi guys, just noticed in the latest 4wd Action e-news that Beaudesert now make an exhaust kit for the 150 Petrol.

    From their website - "For the Prado 150 Series V6 Petrol - Beaudesert Exhaust 1 5/8” tri-flow design extractors and a 2 ¾” mandrel bent exhaust system, including hi-flow catalytic converters."

    Sounds interesting... I wonder what their claimed fuel economy and power increases are?

    I have emailed them for more info and will post back here when I receive it.

    I did the same thing last night lets see who gets the answer first. Did you also notice the extractors? Bet this lot will be around the $2500.00 mark.

      Dear Richard, we do not make an off the shelf system for this vehicle. we would require it in house to manufacture.

            Maybe there is an off shelf system for the 120, but they wanted to sound cool...
            I dare say there would be improvements, maybe not as large as they were in the 120 though.
            2004 Prado GXL. v6 auto, ARB deluxe bar, exhaust, 2" EFS lift kit, Outback Acc rear bar,
            rallye 2000 spots, roof mount dvd, dig_options stereo, toyota roof bars.

              Geez that gives me the sh1ts! 4wd action have dropped the ball big time over the last year or so. Very worried their influence over Overlander will be a negative one...

                Hold the Press!!

                A late mail from Beaudesert Exhausts sales person to let me know that he was wrong they have developed a system for the 150v6 petrol and as I forecast earlier it is $2230.00 plus $25.00 freight to Brisvegas. He didn't put any other details in the email I will continue the investigation.

                        Hi Folks

                        Beaudesert Exhaust did respond, this was a custom build and the owner left on a trip before they had a chance to put it on the dyno, they are trying to get the data when he/she (how's that for political correctness) returns.

                          I am looking for an exhaust system for my petrol 150 here in Sydney. I spoke to Giles by phone, and he told me there is nothing at his location for the petrol, only the diesel version. Do you have a name/phone number for someone at Beaudesert Exhaust please?
