    Cheapo MaxTrax alternative

    Name: Max Gripz 2 tracks

    Description: Knock-off maxtrax boards, sold in Aus, made overseas. They offer a limited lifetime warranty, haven't got mine yet (on the way) but look like they may be a look in if you cant afford the genuine article. Went with these ones as with a bit of research it looks they have actually made a bit of effort and refined their design a bit. @ 4 tracks for $200

        My 2c, a couple of places in Perth stock these and swear by them. The only bad thing they had to say was that some of the lugs are at 90 and 180 degree angles which may cause tyre wear after extended use (think every day for hours at a time), but there is a very low chance of that.

        I never got a set as I already have some maxtrax haha.

          Yeah I saw that mentioned somewhere too El Poids.... But yes certainly have read a few people saying they are pretty great (as far as knockoff chinese stuff goes).

          Heading to fraser in a few weeks on a whim so I might get a chance to test them out!

            Well they look like they would do the job. The Maxtrax are blood great so if there only half as good that's good.
