Hi All
I thought I would finally add to the conversation ...Long time listener first time caller....
I have a question on the traction control in our 2010 GXL TD
When driving on sand (mainly on the beach/dunes) to the point where traction is starting to become an issue the traction control limits the amount of wheel spin.
When trying to apply more rev's the traction control beeps (in cab) with a similar action to the ABS and applies what feels like brake to the wheels loosing traction. This has caused issues especially in sand as it digs in rather than allowing the wheels to spin.
I have tried the traction button in on and off position with center diff lock engaged in H4 and L4 but cant seem to disengage
Is there any easy fix / solution?
Would appreciate any feedback or pointers on how to solve the issue
Many Thanks
Adrian
