I am seeking some member advice or whether internal or external tyre pressure monitoring devices are best.
Obviously I can see that the external switches attached to the valve stem are fairly simple to use but think it would be a pain to have to undo them each time to deflate and re inflate tyres and also they would be vulnerable to damage whilst 4 wheel driving.
As the internal devices do not replace the tyre valves (I think) this would seem to make tyre deflation and re inflation easier and quicker.
Obviously damage to or removal of tyre valve stem would need to be considered with these devices.
Can anyone please give me their opinions on the advantages and disadvantages of both devices based on actual usage and also a good brand to purchase.
Thanks
