No you can't. I know it sucks but that the way to go with toyota maps. Simple solution buy Hema navigation.

My pet subject again, even if you paid $300 for a "new" map from Toyota there would still be little detail and two years out of date. This thread http://www.pradopoint.com.au/showthr...AV-replacement discusses fitting a 12.1 inch android powered head unit. I don't know if anyone has tried one yet? but then you could run whatever maps you want, not be limited to what Toyota force on owners.

I would love to be proved wrong but I think that despite the advert saying "Prado GX/GXL - 2014 Facelift model from November 2013" it will not work on post mid 2015 vehicles.

it is just an idea so don't take my word for it, but I am convinced that Toyota would not develop a GPS/mapping solution from scatch and rather outsource to one of the global players in order to have international support, maps etc.
Eg. BMW motorbikes are using Garmin technology and you can easily upload Garmin maps to the BMW device.
If you are a bit computer-literate and don't mind to spend some time on searching, try to ask on related forums ( eg. google for gpsunderground)
I would not be surprised if you find there a hint which maps would be compatible (plus where to find them and how to install them ;-) )

Unfortunately if you have a Prado that is later than mid 2015 build nothing will work on the factory fitted Fujitsu Ten head unit.
Toyota removed a socket from the rear to stop people using an interface and locked down their map cards using the card's CID so that owners have no choice other than to buy their $300 two year out of date maps.
The Naviplus advert in the link above does state "up to 2015 with apps button" but also shows a more recent head unit with the SD card slot. This is wrong, it will not work in such units.
