If this works, Toyota is going to suddenly start worrying about the failure rate of Hilux washer jets - 'cause we'll all be buying them!!
HI all
I was searching the forum for the detail around installing the hilux jets.. (I ordered a set today!), but it seems to not want to be found! Can anyone help?
Cheers

Unfortunately someone chose to go and delete all their posts (again), so this content has been lost forever. It's a shame when this happens (particularly when done by a moderator).
The basic story is you can fit current model HiLux washer jets to the 120 as they give a better spread of washer fluid coverage.
Did anyone else manage to save any details before they were swiped?
Drew.

yeah, painfull! makes me look like i'm talking to myself half the time!
install is pretty easy... took me about 15mins for the first one and 2 mins for the second... but i had no mercy on the existing ones... losened them up by undoing half the clip from under, then latched on with plyers and ripped htem out!
if i could offer one suggestion that will make the install about 10000000 times easier.... once you've removed the existing ones, dont' put the new ones into the bonnet then try to re connect the water pipe under the hood took be bloody ages and even still have no idea if it's on there properly... instead, feed the cable through the hole from under the bonet so it points up on the top of the bonnet and connect it to the washer before clipping it in place! saves sooooo much time and skin!

Hey Guys, quick question regarding the Hilux Jets.
Got some today and am wondering if the left and right hand washers are different parts. Both my nozzle's are listed as "Nozzle, FR Washer, RH". I'm thinking that RH stands for "Right Hand". If that's the case then I got 2 Right hand nozzles... Anyone know about this?

Do they look exactly the same?
Can you swivel the intake?
and last question... have you had a look at your Prado ones to see if they are the same design?
Sorry I just read the above post that was up while I was typing

Well this is all a bit premature as my Prado is still currently on a ship someplace. I hope. No harm in being prepared though.... Right.
The thing is that the actual Jet is slightly offset from centre. As both jets appear exacty the same I thought it odd as I expected the LH Jet would have the opposite offset to the RH jet. But Maybe not. I thought each jet might be set to spray at a certain angle for both left and right sides. The actual jets appear to be some type of insert which looks removable. No other swivelling or movable bits though.
