      The front?.
But then again that is alot of weight for the standard suspension.
So far the standard dimension is 500ish without that weight.

2003 TD GX, Soveriegn Bar, 155,000 kms.
          Stock standard suspension.

          Front: 520mm
 Rear: 550mm (empty tank, no gear)

:!: It's worth noting that before I left for the Kimberley it looked ok with the camper on, by the end of the trip it had sagged noticeably. My oldish standard springs measure up ok on their own, but with a load on the towball it looks like a Commodore

              Guys,

I just had the thought that ARB trim down or use (used to use???) a shorter spacer in the front body mounts when they fit a bar. Does anyone know how much shorter this spacer is and would having the shortened spacer installed actually effect the height of the guards because the front end has been pulled down tighter on the chassis?

              Any thoughts?

              Paul.

Havnt thought of that in a while.
I had heard that they use some sort of spacer there but I thought it was to relieve stress and help the cracking firewall issue.
Looked under mine the other day and they look toyota.

                Jeff.

Used to is correct, they have now gone back to the longer spacer
                    Difference was 10mm I think
Dont think it would affect the guard, the bar used to fit snuggly under the guard (about 15mm gap) It now has a 25 mm gap

Yes mate, dead stock, center of the hub to base of wheel arch....

Dear oh dear I think something might be wrong. My GX doesn't have flares, do they hang lower than the steel?

edit* Had a look at a new flash one in the carpark this morning. The non poverty pack with flares less than 10mm, closer to 5 below the steel. It had a wireless too...

                            Hutch

I carefully re-measured today in better light and got 515mm front and 545mm rear. Standard suspension and a bit less than half full of fuel.

                              What is your suspension?
I notice its Kings but are they 2"HD or HD normal ride height
And you rear, Kings as well or still standard?

                              Thanks.
