I get the Prado serviced at Motorama Toyota at Moorooka. Very prompt and efficient service and they make a good cappuccino. I always come down from Toowoomba to get it done because it's definitely worth the trip in terms of upfront honesty with regards to pricing and location.

          State: South Australia
Dealer: CMI Toyota Adelaide on West Terrace
Reason: The aftermarket dealer warranty they offer is amazing. They have replaced the diesel motor completely (new for old) and then replaced the head that cracked with less than 4,000 on the clock with a new one. They took on Toyota rather than me which would have been required if I had an extended Toyota warranty.

The service was fantastic, the minimal hassle was appreciated and the fact they did the diff oils etc to bring the service history in line with the engine replacement such that the continued service starts again is just amazing. PS, cost to me, a whopping $NIL, except for two bottles of scotch which the guys definitely deserved!

          Well done CMI Toyota!

I'd be interested to see if they helped you with broken/faulty trims etc.

CMI were no help to me with a broken drivers seat, rattly sunglasses holder etc...

PLUS they stuffed my 120k service AND tried to scr#w me for over $1000 for ONE injector!!!
            Cheers

well i learned a lesson from my wife I am a easy going person and I try not to rock the boat our daily drive needed replacing so we purchased a Ford falcon fairmont now I was told no warranty so that was it, but after taking ownership some problems came up I was told the car was full check and serviced and all fault found were fixed. but the car fail rego inspection in NSW center tail shaft bearing and several other things .

Now I said ok get them fixed no way my wife said and she wrote a long letter to dealership we got the car from and we ended up speaking to the owner of the car place in Broken Hill and he fixed every thing no charge and even replaced the CD player , so lesson learned if your are not happy with the sale and work done even though there is no warranty there is a implied warranty that states the vehicle should be road worthy at the time of sales

              some thing worth knowing about

                Superb service from 4WD Trekmaster

Superb service from 4WD Trekmaster last week... http://www.4x4suspensionbrisbane.com/

I bought my Billies suspension from him almost three years ago shortly after getting my hands on my 120...
I've done close to 80,000k's on them and finally needed to replace the lower bushes on the front suspension.

My mechanic phoned Bilstein and they told him they can't be replaced... 'he'll need to buy new struts' !!

So... I thought I'd call where I got them from.

He remembered me... (had height issues to sort out back when I had the heavy bullbar on... wasn't anything wrong with the product... just a different mechanic who was not used to IFS)
... and he had a set of bushes on shelf. When I asked how much he said "no cost, just call in and grab them when you're in the area" still, he was happy to put them in the mail if I paid the postage.

Fitted up on Wednesday and drives like a dream... as it should without metal on metal

Anyway... everytime I've done business with them he's been great (bought my Lovells suspension for my old 90 series from him as well)
                Cheers, Leon
There's no such thing as a wrong turn... it's just the scenic route!

Spurio - did you ever find a good Toyota service mob around the Gold Coast or tweed?
I'm between Currumbin and Nerang, so either would be fine.
