I don't have personal number plates I do however like my WN plates that show I have some affinity with Wanneroo ( I work in Wanneroo). I live in the city of Joondalup and I am disappointed that I cannot get a plate the represents Joondalup. I remember when every vehicles home town could be distinguished by the car's Number plate.

actually, can any of you come up with a truely inovative number substitution? Straight out "number for a letter" cause the original is already gone doesn't count.

Something like PRD4DO would actually be sort of witty.

It's amazing how many people don't understand or can't figure out what the plates read.

No, it isn't HIS "S", as in it's his "S" pack or something and inferring that HER "S" is at home. Though I have seen various takes on "HIS" and "HERS". I wanted "BITE ME" but some dude already has the plate but not affixed to a car and won't sell the plate. My car club members have plates including: "BITTEN", "SNAKEBITE", "COBRA", "COBRA5L".

One of the numpties built a cobra after mine, painted it the same colour and his plate is "HISSS." Go figure.

I saw a dolly bird in an Aston Martin bearing "KEPT".

Landcruiser here in Kalgoorlie "ONOTHING" as in paid it off?

It's your car and you want to be able to find it in a big car park so why not personalise it with custom plates. But keep the road rage to a minimum though, people tend to remember the plate easier.

Coming home on the M1 and a Nissan Z car slowly passes, the lively looking number inside does not have her hands on the steering wheel at 110kays, :shock: As she goes past the number plate comes into view ...WAM BAM.

I wonder what her profession is ? :wink:

At my kids old school there was a mum there that we called "Glam". She was running around in a BMW X5 (now a Porsche Cayenne) and her plates were "SPOILU". Always well dressed of course, but a very, very deep voice for a female.

I actually like the letter number combinations but one thing I don't like...

(in fear of upsetting blackpradochick again... )

Is people putting the exact name of their vehicle as their plate.
e.g. BMW...I can see it's a BMW for goodness sake..I'm really not that thick!

I believe the chasers (BTW I don't make a habit of watching) did a segment on this and went around putting stickers on any vehicle that did this. This sticker said W4NK3R.

By the way BPC...I DO like BLACK prados!! (does that get me any points back?? :wink: )

Well I had other plates (i wont mention) that had nothing at all to do with it being a Prado and I constantly had idiots asking what they meant, when they couldnt possibly get any clearer! Therefore I changed to PR4DO, and still some how manage to get idiots asking me "What does Pra four dow mean?" :roll:
