Hi all
With a bit of help from google I have finished my project of an A/C compressor for onboard air. There was a fair bit of engineering work to make the bracket, drive pulley and tensioner but it has all come together well. It feeds into a 3l alloy reciever tank mounted on the r/h side chassis rail with a check valve, pressure relief valve and pressure switch mounted on a manifold.
One tyre from dead flat to 28psi takes about 40 secs. Pics below
I have some autocad pdf's of the drive pulley mod if anyone is interested, though the bracket assy I will have to remove, mic up and draw as it was a work in progress to manufacture.
The guys at work have put their orders in - though with bub number 4 due in four weeks, time is expensive!
Cheers
