Beaudesert ,TaipanXP or Manta exhaust?

Hi all

I have a Feb 2007 D4D 3L turbo 6 speed manual with 137500k's on the clock. I have decided to go with a Beaudesert 2 3/4" aluminised steel system approx $1700, fitted, by the time I freight it to Adelaide, Rapid Power Module chip $1450 fitted, and due to the Toyota legendary "cold knock" a new set of injectors approx $2800 if the seats need cutting. Will get it dyno'ed as well to check before and after results. Getting it all fitted by MTQ Engine Systems Australia in Adelaide at Regency Park.

Any thoughts/comments appreciated.

Just found another thread about the Toyota "Customer Service Exercise" re replacing the copper injector seats under warranty, think I will get that done by local dealer and then ask them for quote on replacing injectors at the same time. If rediculous can then continue with the original plan as above.

i had my injectors done at MTQ 2 yrs ago for $2400 ( but was on my account) on my last 120, my current one has good values at the moment
have you had them checked?
ask MTQ if they are using the new bailey"s injector & sheets

add the 2nd fuel filter & change the filter between the tanks if it hasnt been done
i would only change the big muffler fro a full flow muffler, and stick that money for the chip back in you pocket !!! they are a waste of money unless you go for the stienbour one that gets dynoed ( go see Andrew at Alice Hose Tech, he has one on his 200 series)

willall racing in Adelaide are getting good results on dyno with D4D

looks like 20+ kw gain at the wheels.

Don't get a chip get a dyno tune.

Haven't had injectors checked yet, did talk to Karl at MTQ and they are using Denso injectors as apparently can only upgrade to that type on my model as specific for vehicle. Changing them outright because of "cold knock" and 137K on odo. I have added a 30 micron Fuel Manager 2nd filter but not changed out the filter between the tanks (cheers for that advice).
I will talk to Andrew though as would prefer to not have to install chip if no real need.

How's everyone's exhausts holding up? Also wondering if anyone in Perth would be able to help me out by letting me see the results and maybe hear the difference in person, I recently replaced the standard muffler with a straight through muffler and get a god horrible drone at around 1900rpm when under load.
