Fridge always used to work fine
Try something simple like a desk lamp in the prado socket. Also try powering the fridge from a power point in the house to first find out what is and isn't working. Then you will have somewhere to start trouble shooting.

The rear point is only 100W, make sure you don't plug in a hair dryer though.

The issue I had with our 240v point is that it only runs with the key on so was off for a fair amount of time with city driving/shopping trips. We added a rear 12v point for the fridge from the main battery as our first mod and then wired this to the second battery about 6 months later when we installed that. We didn't have any issues flattening the main battery running the fridge.

      Cheers,
      Nova

If you determine that the actual 220V socket is not putting out any power, you may want to check the inverter and its connections behind the trim panel that the power outlet is on. It is a bit of a pain to get to if you have the 3rd row seats in.

Fridge works fine pluged into house wall socket, will check out the inverter, thought there may have been a fuse for it somewhere?

Yep there is a fuse for the rear 220v power outlet inverter...somewhere...I just can't recall exactly where it is, but I have blown it by drawing too much current...I tried a small 240v soldering iron in it once ...result= blew the fuse. Fuse might be in the main under bonnet fuse box ....

In my 2012 model the inverter fuse is a 15A (blue) one located in fuse box under the bonnet, along the back edge nearest the engine next to a combined triple fuse unit. Named INV 15A on the lid. (Noted as fuse 4 in the manual.)

                Cheers
