Reputable Servicing in Perth

My mum takes her 97 Mondeo (with 70,000km) there for her servicing. They do a good job but are always trying to replace things that are old but still working.Dave

Bugger Bali, get out and see Australia before we sell it all to China.

Service WA
Originally posted by Vossy View PostHi All
Have just had the Prado serviced ( 50,00kms ) from a well known dealer from where we bought the vehicle from just over 6 months ago. I phoned around to get a few prices knowing the dealers are usually more expensive but felt a little more comfortable knowing that the previous owner had returned the car from the place of purchase since new to get it serviced there also. What I found out after making a few enquies through the service dept was the vehicle, when purchased at 42,000km, had only recieved an oil and filter change on the 40,000km service ???? This was a stipulated condition of sale when the golden handshake had long been forgotten. I had owned a Hilux (sorry) previously and almost fell over when picking the vehicle up from a 40,000km sevice to the tune of $700 ( this was almost 10 yrs ago) so this was my reasoning behind screwing the salesmans arm a little further. The vehicle is still under NCW and I hope this has no future impact if (touch wood) something has to be returned to the dealer for repair!!! So to cut along story short... has any one in the Perth area had good dealings with any service providers that have an intrerest and genuine concern in approved log book servicing?? NOR would be more convenient but not essential
Thanks
Vossy

Just found this thread and I'd also like to add that Scarboro Toyota are useless. We bought our Prado from them last Sept and made the mistake of getting reverse sensors fitted. Took them six months to get them to work properly but now that it's been raining I've noticed them playing up again. Feel like tearing them a new one.
I've been getting my other cars serviced at BP Woodvale for a while and are pretty happy with the service there.Cheers
