Hi Slamminsammy, my 2004 did the same with those brackets after I did the Canning. Clearly the spotweld is either not enough or poorly executed. Prado's are good but they aint perfect. My fix was same as yours
Borgy, it is possible your bracket is the same one only photo taken from totally different angle. You may have to remove a headlight to check

Hi folks,
Being a relatively new 120 owners I thought I'd rehatch this for newcomers. I bought my 120 with no rattles. After 3 4wd trips, it developed a rattle/dull thud noise. I spent the best part of saturday searching for the answer before I discovered the cause.Comment
