Actually, I think there are 3 wheels now that came from the factory.

The well known GXL 17x7.5 ET30 in alloy or steel.

Then there is the steel wheel for the new GX which is 17x6 ET15 http://www.redbook.com.au/cars/resea...&Ridx=0&eapi=2

And the third is the old GX or new Standard steelies which is 17x6 ET50. http://www.redbook.com.au/cars/resea...&Ridx=3&eapi=2

Links above are for pictures of the wheels.

I reckon you should fit some of the Allied Hammers to my rig first MLC, just to make sure they look ok. I will then take some photos and give the all clear.

        Try Allied Wheels:

        Allied Wasp Black 17x8 ET20

        Or CSA Wheels:

        CSA Jackal 17x8 ET25

You are a bloody legend. Not much choice really. I kind of like the Allied black wasps and maybe the Jacels.

What about Eagle Alloys Series 050 (Part# 0502-8867) Superfinished with Black Trim 17x8 ET20:

Perhaps Speedy Wheels Chariot 17x7.5 ET20:

Or Speedy Wheels Blizzard 17x7.5 ET25:

          Maybe Allied Dragon 17x8 ET20:

It's hard finding rims that are legal in all states, won't cause tyres to foul guards or suspension and look great as well...

A pity there is not even one NSW legal rim available on that website: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registrati...vsi09_rev4.pdf

Are you sure? They look like the 17x7.5 ET30 steel wheels in that link:

Besides, that same website reckons these are 17x7.5 rims, so I wouldn't rely on them for accuracy: http://www.redbook.com.au/cars/resea...&Ridx=0&eapi=2

                      I believe these are actually 17x6 ET50

Thanks Andrew, looks like the FJ is the weapon of choice for fitting 33" wheels with ease.
