G'day
I went for a test drive in a 2006 petrol gxl with 88000 kms and then a 2007 d4d Grande with 35000. We found the Grande to be smoother on rough sealed roads and were happy with the less powerful diesel and also liked the extra features. The brakes were much more responsive to the brake pedal on the 2007 Grande.
Would I find the braking on a 2008 GXL diesel to be similiar to the Grande?
Does the dual climate control really work for two front passengens when one likes 18 degrees and the other 22?
Also I am plannig to tow 2.5 tonne with my Prado and wonder if the Grande would be less suitable due to its suspension than a GXL? How is the suspension different and would it be much dearer to maintain shockers etc. The suspension appears to have a dial for comfort and soft and height adjustable
Thanks
Kevin
