I decided to fit one of our 18W LED work lights to the rear of the roof rack to aid in setting up camp etc at night and as always I try not to drill holes in the body by using existing holes.
I found the best place to get the cable into the car was behind the LH Tail lamp, remove the two bolts and pull the tail lamp backwards and it will pop out of its clips.
Remove the rubber grommet and take note of the gap in the body panels.
Push the cable down between the gap and it should exit in the jack cavity.
Make sure you have enough slack in the cable to do the required wiring to the switch. (Note: Cape York dust from Toyota not fitting rubber grommet on 7 pin cable correctly)
