Black Widow drawers

The rear seats were taken out, which took up a fair bit of room:
I was considering between the BW and FourbyFitouts drawers(which does not require removal of rear seats), but now I am glad I picked the BW and have all that dead weights out of the car.150 D4D VX, ARB Winch bar, Yoko Geolander G012, Warn XD9000, OME, ISI bike carrier, second battery with Redarc BCDC1220, Black Widow drawers with fridge slides.

Thanks for posting this up.
These are the ones I want if the vehicle comes - I hadn't seen them in a 150 b4, just the 120 series, which were excellent.150 GXL D4D Auto - Graphite

I went to check out the drawers at the Camberwell 4WD show a few months ago.
BW had a Prado 150 there with their drawers fitted for demo (it was on loan car from a dealer).
After playing with the drawers and talking to Haydon (the son of Mr BW), I knew what I wanted!
The deal was free installation, so for the twin drawers, fridge slides, dividers and cargo barrier it was $3305. The saving on installation was around $450.
I got the show price for The FourbyFitouts as well, and it was cheaper but I thought the BW quality was better.
FBF's advantage is you can leave the rear seats where they are, but the BW does not have any extra drill holes so in theory you can pull the drawers out and put the seats back like original! They told me they had to refit the loan car to the original state after the show and I was sold
One slight issue for me, initially ARB recommended the hardest springs at the rear for the 2inch lift, with the assumption that the drawers would add enough weight to load the springs. However after taking the seats out (which was about 50kg?) and putting the drawers in the net weight is probably the same. I don't mind driving with a high rear-end but I think the ride could be more comfortable with the mid-level springs. Should be OK when I load 4 bikes at the back!150 D4D VX, ARB Winch bar, Yoko Geolander G012, Warn XD9000, OME, ISI bike carrier, second battery with Redarc BCDC1220, Black Widow drawers with fridge slides.

I really like the black widow drawers as well as a few other brands that were up there in quality. The thing that really bugged me was their reluctance to customise a system. I wanted a system that would mount a 60l engel at floor height and have a drawer on the right with dividing barriers and top shelf. Outback 4x4 made a system in the exact design I was looking for but would only make it to fit the 40l engel, they would not budge no matter who I spoke to there. I was really disappointed at how the big major manufacturers are not open to customisation in any way. I really couldn't believe how hard it was for me to find a manufacturer that would make a drawer system tailored to my needs, ended up going with trek tech in Adelaide and was pretty satisfied with the result, my drawers were the prototype for the 150 template that he now uses.SOLD!!! 2011 Prado GXL manual in silver
