I have a 2007 Prado Grande Petrol Auto with no special mods i.e. standard suspension, Dunlop AT20 tyres etc.
I have been off-roading in moderation for past 20 years and the only serious breakdown was a failed EFI fuse on a 80 Series which even the RAC remote out-call man couldn't solve so towed to nearest dealer! And a punctures which i fixed myself without issue.
As I am planning a number of more remote trips over the next few years (Kimberley, top-end, Cape York, Simpson) towing an Ulitimate camper (wheel and tyres matched to the Prado).
I would appreciate the forum's opinions on what kit-bag of spares to take. And any special tools? If this has been discussed before, I couldn't find the link so please share!
Also, the options for workshop manuals seems somewhat limited - what was the outcome of the vote on Ellery vs. Gregory vs. Haynes manuals?
