I got in touch with Scangauge. They are aware of the problem and are looking into it.

I was told to not display any of my XGAUGES on the screen and to display only standard gauges. I did this, then did another scan and no pending codes came up.

So I gather there is a bug and should be a fix for it in the next firmware update?

With the help of this thread and the manual I have setup my ScangaugeII with the following reading which I want to keep an eye on, so in return I thought I'd post my setup used with codes and a picture. Keep in mind that the outside temperature was 43C when I took the photo so the figures may be higher than you'd normally expect.

The two ATF codes and the ability to read and clear fault codes are the key reason for buying the scangauge but when I found that Coolant temp and Battery Voltage could also be displayed it was a bonus.

I understand that the stock temperature gauge on the dash only climbs high when things are really hot and almost no resolution around the middle of the scale so it's good to have a proper number. I also had an alternator failure a couple of months ago and it became clear that by the time the battery light comes on on the dash then the battery voltage is extremely low. Now I can see from the scangauge that the normal running voltage is nearly always 13.8-14.0V.

I found that the scangauge website provided a new ATF code for the Prado150 so I programmed this and the 'Hilux' code mentioned in this thread previously. By what I can see both of these Xgauge code display the same reading so I've just used the two A and B codes for the Prado150.

My setup uses the following gauges.

                Water/Coolant Temp - CWT
                Battery Voltage - VLT
                ATF Temp A – Xgauge 07E121D9 032100000000 2808 00010001FFD8
                ATF Temp B – Xgauge 07E121D9 032180000000 1810 0003004DFE70

Thats how i want mine set up, a question tho, the 2 ATF i take it means auto transmission, and do you need the 2 temps, is one more accurate than the other.
                  Cheers mate

One of the ATF codes on the scangauge site is the torque converter. Mine climbed right up to 130c driving up a long hill in the Vic High Country.

While we are on this, has anyone with a good handle on the codes worked out what the Injector 1,2,3,4 feedback volumes are? That would be really helpful!

Do you mean what the scangauge codes for the injector feedback values are, or what injector feedback values mean? I haven't been able to find the codes. There's a thread on this forum that discusses what the injector feedback values and injector volumes mean.

Yeah I'm after the codes to display the data. It would be handy to be able to monitor them more regularly with the scangauge rather than plug in the laptop.

So I have managed to find 'short term fuel trim' codes and 'long term fuel trim' codes for CANxx vehicles on the Scangauge US website. Are either of these likely to be the injector feedback ? I haven't got my car here to test them.

                                Hi Linmar
Have you been able to get oil pressure up and working ? That would be one thing to monitor with the history of blow ups.
The rest of the settings are just what I'm after.
                                Regards Joe
