Can you tell me does having it offset still give you a clear view?

This is something I'm still contemplating. I originally wanted it in the middle, but if I ever put a winch in then it would need to be moved. They talked me into that side location.

Visibility is great and I can see pretty much the same field of view as when it was in the factory location without the bar. Having said that though being slightly offset, I'm not 100% sure how the on-screen view showing where the front wheels are will be affected. Sometime I'll have to do some tests.

I figure that if I am ever in that situation where it is so important to know exactly where the wheels are anyway, I'll have someone guiding me either way.

    Cheers

So collected the vehicle back from ARB this arvo. They say that I didn't do any real damage and have readjusted the space (this time using spacers) to the exhaust. There's around a 5mm gap, and all is quiet again.

Well finally got the next stage of my install done. New GME 4705 UHF aerial to replace the guard mounted 409 (I think from memory)...looks tough and suits the colour of the car. My wife reckons she's going to have to get used to seeing that from the passenger seat when we go bush...that's the only time it'll be on the car as it is too tall to get go most places.

Also installed the Britax Xray 200 HID spots with the stock looking switch in the cabin. These are a great light. I haven't had a chance to adjust them properly but they are an awesome light.

Also forgot...went to the Brisbane 4x4 Show today and picked up the Heavy Duty 4 Pad CouplerTec system for $525...a good saving. Will have to to find the time over the next couple of weeks to install.

Front camera has lots of uses, but is mostly tied in to many of the functions of the 4WD system. It's called the Multi Terrain Monitor and you can see more at http://www.toyota.com.au/prado?WT.ac...f-road-driving

                          Yep...I like the look too.

Sunday...not so sure. Supposed to be heading away for Easter camping in NSW so kind of depends on how much prep time I have if we head off Thursday.

I'll get my TG150 from Dan (thanks for all of your work) and install too...would be good to see a few other Prados out so Sunday would be a good oppty.

I'm out for Sunday as my eldest is playing football at 11am, we're going away as well so have to do some Camper Trailer Prep.

Dan's got my number if you've got any questions about the TG150 install, I've posted install instructions in the For Sale thread.

Have to catch up another time.

Well, fitted the TG150 today...Dan and I did both his VX and mine, and I must say I am super impressed with this bit of kit. Thanks Paul, this is a great addition to my vehicle.

In my case, I removed the ARB transfer case plate and added the TG150...all too easy.
