Additional Membership Options

As Aaron is in middle of the site upgrade, I'm sure he will look at it after that. I've again had a look at your account, and it seems to be a a paid membership layout. What exactly isn't working for you to say it hasn't applied?

I understand this is not the fault of administrators but the business owner does not seem to care about the false advertising or poor customer service.

Membership as advertised is below.


I am still getting the Google ads Eight months after paying membership. The only reason I pay membership is to avoid these ads.

1. Financial Member
Becoming a financial member has the following benefits:

A copy of the next PradoPoint Calendar - does this still exist?
No Google Ads - Still getting them.
You may choose your own title - rather than the default rank (ie. lurker).
Access to TapaTalk.
A distinctive badge icon that sits next to your username.
Access to The Bungalo forum. - This Cancel auto renewing membership is the only thread in over a year
Images may be used in your signature.
250 private message quota.- PM has not worked since I Paid membership 7 months ago
Larger image album uploads & more photos.
A warm and fuzzy feeling*. - appears a number of valued contributing members have lost this.

Please let me know if you feel this refund request is fair or is this just the way this business works?

Wrote this earlier today but it was missed during the upgrade.. No surprise as the database was in limbo at the time.Looking at your profile, it all looks correct.. In regards to your query:

No Google Ads - Still getting them. Can you perhaps screenshot and advise where/what? Is it all over the place, or just the small banners top and bottom of page?

From what I can see, your membership is valid and has been the whole way along, if you can perhaps try some of the above to test that would be great. I've also today chosen a test user to apply the same membership to, and they will also Beta test everything to see if it is all working as it should.

I have discussed your claims/concerns again today with the owner of PP, and it has been quickly looked into, we both cannot see that its not working as it should. But welcome your testing and our Beta tester is to also see if he can see any faults. Any other financial members that are current, we would also welcome comments in regards to the advertising that is mentioned above.

We will also be in touch in regards to your membership after the upgrade and initial beta testing has been sorted. The forum is currently offline, so hopefully this message posts when it re-appears after the upgrade.

So why was it still listed with membership?

Banners top and bottom of page. I am not getting any ads with the upgrade, thank you. Google ads were often related to recent google searches I had made. As mentioned earlier, the no ads were my main reason for membership.

The lack of ads and PM was the only parts I queried not working. I could not find anyway to contact admin to make enquiries regarding this other than publicly.

I did email the admiin contact form with no response. Also posted my email address to ask questions quietly but no response. My issue was not about the money but poor customer service that created buyer remorse.

Good work on the forum upgrade.
