Hi All,
Given that most members in this Group will need to upgrade their UHF Radios to 80 Channel, as the older ones can’t be software upgraded, and given the cost to replace is high, (around $450.00+ for some models) I was looking at the idea of a bulk purchase of UHF Radios, to bring the cost down for members. This would be the same units as available in retail shops with retail box, mic, booklet etc... Not just the " Brains" of the unit, so you could have spare parts.
What I would like to know from our Members is the following:
1) How many would need to buy a New UHF Radio (Username + Actual Name)
2) What Brand you would prefer
3) What Model Number would you prefer.
If I can get enough interest, I will investigate further and report back on costs.
Please email me directly with PradoPoint 80 Ch UHF Radios as Subject Heading.
I am doing this injuction with my local 4WD Club as well.
Please feel free to ask questions.
Stuart
