Broke my new tent during the wild weather upon arrival at Bendelby. Eventually got sck of the flapping tent and resorted to the swag for the rest of trip. Left front tyre has a slow leak after deflating on a dune. Bash plate has a few more battle scars and, of course, there's a few more pin stripes. Ovedue for 80K service. 5500km for the round trip makes it almost 8 thousand clicks on the new motor with no issues.

Dave that tent of yours didn't stand up to to much . Watching you keep moving your car to act as a wind break.
Where are you now . Dave you still on the way home

          AMTS bashplate took a hammering.....

Pride tok a hammering also after MLC's team decided to di some extremely large holes for Dodgy at the to of a dune, leaving him to run a "Training session" for his team, including running the trainign session for the Pajero team that took the chicken track

Dave, Well that's not showing gratitude to the bloke that went out of his way to stop and help you when your mates had left you hanging!

P.S We only took the alternate track to go and help coz we were sick of waiting for the team to assist their mate. Maybe next time I will just keep driving.....

              Bwhahahahaha.

Show some gratitude Dave, he posted over 23 pictures on the Pajero forum!

Makes you want to smack that team around that "reinstated" the track back to normal.

I guess this means Dave sustained substantial, some may even say "Critical" damage, to his pride

No vehicle damage to speak of apart from extra pin striping. Just a home made $3 sand flag that lasted 5 minutes on the Border Track and had to be cable tied and taped to the roof rack for the remaining days and a Buck knife left on the bullbar at the end of the Border Track whilst airing up.

Still haven't cleaned the SA dirt and dust off the car but did borrow my mechanics air blower yesterday to give the air filter a good clean.
Sheez, talk about topping up my daughters sandpit!! ... and that's after giving it a clean at Red Bluff.
