It should paul, they generally send the stuff straight out and it gets here in 2-3 days.

Basically it improved the throttle response times of the triton, so when I put my foot down it doesn't hesitate and does exactly what I ask of it. I have played around with the mode settings on all the different levels and found a happy medium so not to touchy but with a push on the button all hell breaks loose. 8-)

These will not give you more power, they simply make the car alot better and easier to drive. Anyone in Adelaide is more than welcome to come and take my car for a drive and see for themselves. I know its not a prado but you will get the idea.

Got it Derek, my fingers are crossed that all goes well as I reckon these solve alot of problems in the throttle department.

They also come with a 2 year warranty.

No worries, I'll run it in the car for the week and over the weekend. Then report my findings.

just curious, about this product. Does it just give a bigger throttle output for less throttle movement?

I had a 2010 150GXL that I have replaced with a 2012 150GXL. The 2010 model auto was a pain to drive, hesitation and poor programming form the auto, just too slow and too keen to get into higher gears. This mod may well work here.

The one in 2012 is good, it changes down earlier and response is quicker, what would this mod to for me then.

Which then brings up the question, if you got the earlier model would a reflash of the auto from Toyota fix the hesitation and response issue?
stepped up the a 200 LC for towing,
but had a 2012 and 2010 150 Prado GXL auto diesel in Graphite with Bridgestone D697 A/T. Dobinson C59-300/325 and Bilsteins. Accessories : two baby seats. Sidewinder`s Dual Battery isolator and rear power outlet kit. Pirana Battery tray, Hayman Reese towbar with Toyota wiring kit and Brains`s guard.

Any further info on this? I am interested as I have a 2010 150 series manual, that has the annoying flat spot/nothing response when trying to drive with a light throttle......

                    I have a 2010 SX.

I have complained about the cruise control a few times at service. At the last service they advised that there was no adjustment on the cruise control but they updated the ECU firmware.

Now the cruise control is much, much better but the whole responsiveness has improved.

Note that once they fixed the "1500 RMP vibration and roughness" at the second service I had no complaint about the performance.

Since the ECU was updated the transmission holds longer before changing up and changes down a bit more readily.

Not sure yet but I suspect fuel consumption may have gone up slightly.

That may be the difference between your 2010 and 2012 model.

This product will reduce / eliminate the delay in the throttle response. with a range of settings you can tune the throttle response times. I have been running mine on economy mode this past week and I am probably getting slightly better economy due to the throttle having a fair bit of free play where as in P2 mode the throttle is really touchy.

Did you get it yet Brain's?

The throttle controller might be something like the pivot controller, i'll be very interested in what Brains thinks after his test. Here is some data on a website.
