Thanks for sharing who the committee is so that we have a direct contact point if we need to talk to someone about something that doesn't really need to be posted.

Keep up the effort guys as I am sure you will pull off a great event in 2014.

      Hi Vaughan,

Yes, that's one of the reasons I updated,
Also so you know who's doing what, eg; Shan it the gtg website & artwork I.t etc. he has been a great help, THANK YOU BUDDY!
I seem to be the one making it happen, people wanted it, someone gotta do it.
I understand many of us are too busy, lucky I've got weeks of spare time to fill, not! :???:
If you have suggestions, questions or issues with me, feel free to contact me, (like you did last week)

You guys will pull it off ####. Main thing is ensure you're daily routes and leave times etc are well sorted and tested, so that everyone can do what they came for (some good driving). In the absence of this, everyone will sit around gas-bagging and twiddling their thumbs. Sponsors, group BBQ etc come second to this IMHO. We will all have our own food and our own gear (yes, prizes make it fun), so as long as there's a place to sleep and tracks to drive, everyone will enjoy.

Best of luck all. The countdown is on. You know you're under pressure when we're all starting to tick the mods off that we want installed for the GTG. Barely 6 months to go.... Just saying
        Diesel Prado with various things...

Yes, you are correct, we need lots of reccies over the next 6 months, the rest is easy.
However, I think, do it properly or not at all so thats the plan!
I'm told I'm a good organiser, so I think you will be ok! There will be no shortage of driving!
We have a good mix of helpers & experience on the committee! For us, not a problem :-)
          Plenty of time, not! :-)

Good trip leaders, organised drives, posted start times, good camping, great tracks, we have all we need to make for a good time and great memories. We just need to stop the dozers making the tracks Subaru friendly.

As many of you would know, I have not been to a pp gtg, a pp member or 2 seemed to think people wanted a gtg & on Vic trips put in the word are we going to organise a gtg? So a small group of us agreed to help out. Since then a committee was formed members have left & others have joined.
After being asked to be the main man & clearly saying no, well not much was happening, but I still kept hearing how much we need to get this organised.
I did pick up the reins somewhat, & get things going & have put a lot of time into this, but now I'm tired.
James and Ian are doing a great job of setting up all the routes etc.
Shan has done a great job of keeping the gtg website up to date, even though he has been away a few times.
I'm sure Josh will come up with some ripper shirts & other stuff.
Mick is working on a few more sponsors, some of the usuals & some new ones.
Everything is going well the hardest parts are done, just finalising some trip routes that Anders, Ian & James are putting together.

              The updated committee list is:

Barajak - been to a gtg, route planning, trip leader & much more
Shan - never been to a gtg, website & I.t.
Ursos - been to gtg, trip leader, route planner.
JPH - never been to A gtg, merchandise/shirts
Nema - never been to a GTG, trip leader?
Ex Niss - been to a gtg. ?
Weasal4x4 - been to a GTG, Facebook, sponsors?
Benwodonga, never been to a gtg?, Barajak's right hand man? Trip leader?
              Chris22220, cook camp security.
############# - never been to a gtg, kept it rolling for a while, lots of posting, hit a few sponsors (hard work), reccie starter, maybe trip leader, treasurer, stickers, & more.
I'm going to finalise those things I started but taking a step back from taking orders & pushing reccies etc. I'm not the man man!!!!! Please don't think I am.

I hope the updated committee list enable you to see who to contact with any queries.

              Enjoy!

                Hi all,

was wondering what we were doing with trip notes.
Happy to try write them up and print them if some one has them scribbled some where.
Not sure what was already organised.
                Paper/ GPS/ format?
