Roof racks
One of the first things I did was to add some roof racks. There were several iterations to this:
First was a pair of Thule aero bars to mount onto the roof rails.
Second was the 3-bar heavy duty set from Toyota and I added a home made platform to it.
I then removed the platform and added 6x 2m Rhino HD bars lengthways
More pics here, link
Next was the Rhino Platform Rack and 1375mm Rhino aerobars.
And finally, installed the Rhino Pioneer Platform Rack (p/no 42103)
It is not the model intended for the 120 Prado so it required modification.

I needed some storage for jackets and soft items, so found this cargo net on ebay that looped around the grab handles.
I bought some Sandgrabba mats for the 1st 2 rows. No pics but here's the website http://www.nobullaccessories.com.au/sandgrabber
I then added insertion rubber sheet under the 2nd row seat to join the Sandgrabba to the rubber cargo mat.

Sovereign bullbar and winch cradle
I previously put on a TJM nudge bar so that I can mount a pair of Roo-lite 180XP. Got some brackets machined so that the spotties won't stick out so much.
This was then changed to a Sovereign bullbar which came with a winch cradle. Thanks to 1coolbanana for assisting in the install in Sydney.

Yes, I am running 2 sets. AT20s on Toyota Phoenix alloys and Wrangler MTRs on factory alloys. The MTRs are a bit noisy but the soundproofing in the Prado is pretty good.

Custom Maxtrax and awning brackets
With the addition of the new Rhino Pioneer Platform rack comes new ways of mounting the awning and Maxtrax.
The brackets are all custom and uses custom channel nuts as well. The mounting point incorporates an eyebolt for a tie down point without utilising another channel nut. I drilled holes at the bottom of the space case and bolted it down that way with some really large square washers.

Illuminated mine spec flag
I added a mine spec flag to the roof rack and mounted it together next to the UHF antenna on a custom bracket which can be knocked down when required. I'm yet to wire up the LED on the tip of the flag. When not used, the flag is stowed (unseen) behind the awning using mini Quick-fists.
There is also a spring base on the bullbar for the flag to click into.
