Dual battery kit
I put a dual battery kit into my 150 prado. Got a laser cut bracket from off-road downunder to hold my bcdc battery charger, it fits nice and neat behind the air filter. Have a piranha battery tray that I had fitted by arb when they put my bull bar on. I ran he wire from the dual battery (97AH maintenance free) under the engine bay and along the chassis rail towards the boot. And feed the wire in through a grommet near the jack. And then installed a double cigarette socket and voltmeter on the pop out panel above the jacks door. All to run a 40L engle and have a spare socket for other accessories.Last edited by Secco; 20-03-2017, 07:43 PM.

Made six quick clamp slide in's to fit in the seat runners in the Kakadu. To strap down the engle.
The base was made out of 40x10mm aluminium bar with a 6mm threaded hole to hold down a p clip, with a couple of mudguard washers. I milled two runners on bar to fit into the slot. Alloy bracket was 40x27x10mm milled side was 7mm wide by 4mm deep, leaving a 13mm center section to fit into slide.Cheers
Charlie
