  • Hi Greydog,

It is a 3.0 Diesel, The tray I used was a Projecta HDBT112. The clamp comes with the tray. I had to move my aircon pipe out of the way a fair distance but had no issue doing it there is a lot of play in it.

Yes there were permanent threads for the battery tray as i think overseas models have a second battery as standard.

          LED Interior Light Replacements
          https://www.dropbox.com/s/np11d4ze7ciqvq6/LED.jpeg?dl=0

Very easy to replace the Interior LED lights, Purchased the lights from ebay see post here (http://www.pradopoint.com.au/showthr...l=1#post543718) Very happy with the light output.

I had the Momentary Start Assist button custom made to say Start Assist from "Air On Board" see here (http://www.aironboard.com.au/store/p...-switches.html)

With the Dash Cam install I run the power cable up around the window and down the drivers side near the floor. Very discreet, took me a little while to find an Accessory wire that I can tap in to but for anyone looking here it is

          https://www.dropbox.com/s/jbeszfjjnm...Wire.jpeg?dl=0

I just hid a Cigarette socket down near the right drivers side foot well and plugged the power lead in from the Dash Cam.

If anyone wants to know more or would like to see more photos let me know

          • What did I do to my Prado today?

I picked it up and brought it to its new home for the foreseeable future. Couldn't be more happy with it.
(I just bought it in case anyone is lost lol)

            • I have had the camper nearly 18months and today I ran power to the back to keep the camper batteries charged while driving. To date haven't had to worry because we have driven 3 or 4 hours to a camping spot for a couple of weeks where the solar panels did the trick. Next month we will be doing a mini tour so I needed to sort it out. New bracket to mount the SBi12 and a 60A manual circuit breaker and I relocated the 30A manual circuit breaker for the auxiliary in the back as well. Very happy with the end result since the auxiliary circuit breaker was only temporarily mounted on the lid of the fuse box. Temporarily for pretty much four years! Can't rush these things!

I needed an SBi12 because the camper uses the feed from the battery to trigger the DCDC to kick in.

                    • Thanks for the reply TR, much appreciated. It is just that if you go by Stedi's model selection, they recommend the copper head type. Which is why my question and it was meant to go to Starbuck. Thanks

                          Hey Phil,

These are the ones I'm using http://www.invisionsales.com/lightin...t-kit-overview and they are excellent, I have also used there same globes in the fog lights, so much better than the original globes

Yes these are the H11 Driving lights, they are plug and play, no need for any modifications. I didn't bother with the high beams as I don't use them often, but I'm happy with the output the standard HB3 high beam globes produce.
