  • Got the new prado a little dirty at the power lines in mundaring.. seen a few other prados up there too not sure if they are members ??

was with my brother in-law he has a 76 series with 35s and 4 inch and I got most places he did apart from
    masssive bog wholes wich would
be silly to go in anyways !

but him and I were really suprised about how good the car preformed straight out of a factory !

i had wired up a second battery with 6b&s to the rear I am just charging the deep cycle from my 240 charger and putting in car when we go on trips until I get a dcdc

also put Anderson plug in rear for fridge and cut the cig plug off the Waeco and put a Anderson also, able to get almost 3 days on the 105 ah battery

few photos, one if battery, black diamond lake next to the father in-laws 120, Wellington national park and also winibinga beach with a few other Toyota’s !

Started making a false floor to mount fridge slide takes up a lot of room the fridge slide and looks like it’s going to be right on top of the bolts to attach to mounting holes in back of seats so would have to take off and on the slide each time I take out the false floor

Had a muck around seeing how I’ll mount my uhf under the Centre console area, have purchased a rj45 switch blank whatever there called.. will be just connecting mic into this and having the box hidden..

looks nice and factory, just can’t hook it up yet as I don’t have anywhere to permanently mount the antenna currently using a rhino rack foldable Antenna bracket on top of the roof racks and have wired the uhf box currently to a cig plug so I can remove it until hard wiring

                  • Walked passed it 4 times today looked at it gathering dust, only gets driven on weekends sometimes and half a tank of diesel lasts about 3-4 months.

Any pics of what the antenna on the Rhino Fold Down bracket looks like?

                        • Only had it a few weeks. Been learning how to drive it (only had an 80 series for a few months prior and no 4wd experience at all).

So far LED conversion and Kings throttle controller (V6, not diesel, yes I like it, prefer sport setting).

Low/high beam (Stedi Copperhead), parkers, front and rear indicators, reverse lights, all interior except vanity lights (eBay kit). Just have mirror indicators and brake/stop to do, plus the lights in the bullbar.

Adjusted the shocks it came with, BP51s, and two fronts are now being replaced due to a knock (warranty and apparently known issue).

Winch and air filter in the post. Exhaust being discussed.

Lots of pics in my build thread.
