What did you do to your 150 today?

It's a perfect snug fit in the channel and actually 'clicks' in place sits tightly over miles of corrugations. The adhesive tape is the clear double sided gel type that is strong as all get out but when you want it off it just rolls off. Also holds my gopro, radio handpiece and phone cradle. No screw holes anywhere. I have a small bit of dowel that fits between the centre and just below the air vents and the tablet with Velcro dots (soft face on car and tablet) which secures the tablet against any back and forward movement but have never used it though with it in it doesn't move a bit.

The channel is from bunnings and I simply lined it again with the soft side of a self adhesive Velcro strip. The hardest bit is you have to put a very slight curve in the Ali channel to match the curve in the facia. Spray it all up and bob's your uncle.

Only problem is it may be tablet specific as the xperia is very square in profile. My mates Samsung also fits but not quite as well so would definitely use the dowel option with it. Samsung needs slightly thinner, say, felt glued in the channel.

Finally had time to fit Toyota alloy bar, trans cooler with Tin's brackets, wiring loom for new spotlights, UHF antenna and plug just need to get the unit now, not sure if GME or Uniden.
Fitted a Derale therostat switch/tap to trans cooler line line to bypass cooler when car is cold. Was going to fit the Derale cooler as it was about twice the capacity of the Davies Craig 698 unit with electric fan, but to big to fit, it was bought for my HiLux anyway.
The top cooler hose is the return to the tranny on the radiator, fitted hoses to both lines when top hose disconected, oil only came out hose from radiator.
Will have the car back assembled by Saturday then will give it a long run to test. Sent scan gauge2 away for updates so I can refit to car.

Alternator shat itself, so I pulled it out tonight, bolt a new One in tomorrow.

went to ARB Penrith to have the ARB UVP fitted but was told they are fully booked and can only fit first week of Feb so i just grab the UVP and had it fitted by my local trusted mechanic who charged me cheaper than what arb would charge

next on the list ARB compressor... still undecided whether to get it mounted or just get the portable one...

Today (well, this fortnight) I traded my fully decked out black 2007 120 GXL (285,000km) for a stock standard white 2014 150 GXL (45,000km)! Back to square one but looking forward to the challenge and learning from all the mistakes on the 120! She's booked in with ARB for colour coded Deluxe bar, recover point, under body protection, OME 2" lift (nitro sport shocks, OME springs) Once fitted will be followed by my original IPF HID's, 80ch UHF and Light bar as well as a new set of Mickey Thompson ATZ P3's which I had on the 120 and loved. All the under bonnet gear (dual batteries, etc etc) in the next month or so, followed by AirTec snorkel. One could say that today was an expensive day.......

As Craig said, get the old one re-coed if you can, those things aren't cheap.

Had my 75,000K service done by #### today, not bad mileage for a 6 year old vehicle LOL. Also had the auto transmission fluid flushed but apparently mine wasn't too bad. Thanks for the good job #### and all the maintenance advice.

You can't have him, we need him down here in Melbourne. Just to clarify, it's ############# I'm referring to. Thought I'd get him to go over it before the dealer warranty runs out and figured it may as well have a general service at the same time.

hahaha, yeah i know its #############, i've read a lot about him in PP and that's why i wish someone as knowledgeable as him is available here in Sydney...the great thing is that he is a Prado owner as we are and it is plus...

Serviced my GXL, Air, oil, and fuel filters and fresh oil.

Made a couple of wings for the Titan drawers that I installed as well. Well half of the wings anyway, still a bit more to do , but too hot in my shed!

Interested in how you have fitted the drawers. Are they over the 3rd row seats or in the floor pan? Did you use a set of 120 drawers as the basis for your installation? They keep telling me a 150 version is still with R&D and have no ETA on a production set as yet.
