Gday prado people.. I was wondering whether anyone has put an EGR blank gasket or something on the pre D4D motor? If so is the difference noticeable?

Yes. In what way do you expect it to be different with one fitted?
If you mean an intake manifold that remains clean after the mod (and cleaning of the manifold at the same time) then yes it is..Silver '04 KZJ120~Manual~GXL~Dobinson/Kings lift~Custom valved Ironmans~Detroit Locker~Endless Air~X9 Superwinch~Madman EMS1~TJM Dual Battery~Rhino Roof Tray~120W solar panel~Foxwing awning~Bushskinz UVP~Long Ranger water tank~Bushman fridge~Steinbauer P-Box~Beaudesert 2 3/4"~Airtec Snorkel~TJM Sliders~Prico Boost Gauge~BFG-KO2s~TPMS~GME TX3420~Front and Rear Cameras~Ultimate Camper hanging off the back!

If you only plug the vacuum line or use a blanking plate then you won't get any codes. It's only if you unplug the position sensor or either of the controlling VCV's that you will get a code or check light.
If you plug the vacuum line (easiest method, ball bearing in the line) it can be seen on any real time scanner/analyser as the EGR lift stays at zero percent all the time.
Makes no noticeable change to performance unless the EGR had a problem to start with.
