I have a 2003 Prado TZ imported from Japan and drive it in Kenya.
Recently, the vehicle has been bouncing around while driving for the first few minutes. Then it settles down for the rest of the drive.
Today, the rear suspension feels flat and you get a jolt going over a pot-hole, speed-bump(they are everywhere in Kenya) or rough road.
I had my mechanic take a look. He attached his computer and reset the codes. He said there is nothing wrong.
When I took it out again, it was the same problem. However, when I turned it off and waited a few minutes before starting again, I was able to use height control to raise the suspension.
Not sure what the problem could be.
I will likely take it to Toyota to let them have a look.
Any assistance/advice from my Prado brothers would be appreciated.
