  • Who has not got an 80 channel UHF?

    Just considering using less busy channels.

    It worked well at the last reccie.

    Who is going to only have a 40 ch?

    Channel 50 rocks, channel 10 was so last year!
    150 with stuff bolted on!

          Same here. Mine could probably be upgraded but I never had a need to

                        Isn't there an issue with 80ch units sounding too soft on the 40ch units due to a narrower transmission signal? I'm running 40ch but I would like to be able to hear everyone!

                          40 channel here. Have looked to see if it can be upgraded but simple answer is no.

                            Not that I'm aware of. Many have got an 80, but we mainly use first 40, because not everyone has got an 80. Never had an issue.

                            The only ongoing issue is some people are too lazy to pick up their mic to talk, then it's very soft & most people miss most of what they say.

                            Didn't think everyone would have one, wishfull thinking.

                              Would change to 80 channels if i could find a good reason to.
                              Have not yet come across a situation that i have gone OH shit if only i had another 40 channels.
