    What's happening @ the 2014 GTG

Well, it's been a busy few days in the High Country! Most participants arrived in Mansfield Tuesday arvo, after setting up camp and registering we attended High Country 4x4 for a meet and great, BBQ and a talk from Allan from Piranha about everything 12 volt! An interesting talk indeed!

Thanks High Country 4x4 for your hospitality!

Wednesday saw 4 trips depart Mansfield, the first trip @ 7 headed on the non trailer route to Wonnangatta for the night. The next three groups did variations of the circuit including Mt Stirling summit, Craigs Hut, Bindaree and Bluff huts and a slippery climb up 16 Mile jeep track. So far the weather has been awesome offering fantastic views.

Tomorrow will see everyone reassemble at Talbotville.

Well a soggy pack up this morning, then all roads lead to Talbotville! They might be windy and foggy but there's definetly no dust!

Well bit of a lay day today and give everyone a chance to set up and dry out. This also gave us a chance to recce some wet tracks. We also had a group go up billy goats and crooked river, Bulltown and Collingwood spur.
