Still a week from home but finally got some good internet to check whats happening.

Thanks to everyone for another great GTG. Awsome country and good company.

Yes the photo I took from the roof of JPH's car is on the ARB site already. Maybe I should have put a little water mark on them 'taken by Nema' hehe

I have uploaded a few videos that I took on one of the water crossings near Talbotville. If any of the guys want the full version that is higher resolution let me know via PM with your email address and I will email it to you.
Hopefully this weekend should be quieter (no more cleaning, Yay) and I should get a chance to finally go through my photos and will upload a few to dropbox.

Does anyone have a quick way of resizing photos? I want to upload some to the Dropbox but at 4 - 8 mb per image it will be slow going and hog space.

I have posted a couple of videos from the GTG on youtube. Sorry about the long delay in getting them up there.

There is a long one of all of the cars going up Herns Spur on the second day. A lot of winching and some good views of a patrol skidding down the hill which by all accounts almost wiped out the guys at the bottom of the hill.

There is also a video of the washout that crippled the air bag on Shans car. It also has the rest of the party going up the washout whilst the repairs were attempted.

Yes the wife did a great job with the video, especially considering we were there for a couple of hours. I was surprised she caught most of the action as she doesn't find 4wding the most riveting experience. It was a pity she missed the 5 snatch strap pull to get Brad up the hill, but I think she was pretty much over it by then. The only issue was that she made me scrub the audio before putting the video up.

We were lucky we had such a great day there as it was marked on the map not to do it in the wet. Good planning from the organisers of the GTG to keep us entertained and to make sure we didn't get bored by arriving at Talbotville to early. Also as Anders said a few days latter it was an easy drive up the hill.
