Quick note to add to #### comments about rear diff oil, Just be aware that the 150 series does not have a LSD in the rear axle. Check your hand book, for your particular model, but mine did not and as such does not warrant the LSD oil. Also the Kakadu has a locker standard. Cheers, mmm beer.

OK so this one then :- http://www.bunnings.com.au/projecta-...arger_p4420008

            They also have a 4300ma one for another $10 or $12 :- http://www.bunnings.com.au/projecta-...arger_p4420249

Is the lower mA one better because it produces more of a trickle charge?

Your correct but the order is different, Polish first, then beer.
Pearl loves it and looks the goods all cleaned up. It would be the first time this year I have washed her and it not rained the next day. The only reason I know mine has a open rear differential is I have it sitting in a box in the shed. Was replaced with a locker. I cant see any friction plates like a LSD.
                Cheers mmm polish.

I tried to get a secret raiding party together to muddy Pearl up during the night after you had bathed her in the river, pikers all of them LOL!

Did your Altitude have the factory rear diff lock?

                    Great thread.

For the few 95 series owners - I'm pretty sure the rear prop shaft has 4 grease nipples not 3.

I've just changed my engine oil/filter, steering fluid and checked over the suspension and diffs. Can't seem to find much else to do at this time.

I had a look at this one online today (model AC250B) but it's only rated up to a 650CCA battery which my starter battery exceeds. Using the MCA rating for my aux battery since it's a marine battery it would appear to be under-spec there too.

Going off their specs it seems I need a model AC1000 since it covers the range for both batteries. There's also the PC800 in the Pro Charge range which would suit but Bunnings don't stock either of those models.

Would I get away with one of the lower spec models which Bunnings stock? Going to Bunnings tomorrow, only reason I'm asking. Happy to look at other suppliers if I need to.

Make sure to grease all drive line points, with all that water crossings the grease will be in a poor shape.I have also read that it is advisable to do a brake fluid flush, due to the break down of the fluid with the cooling affect each time you enter the water. This is in the latest 4x4 Australia magazine.Page 156.they say that Brake fluid is Hygroscopic, meaning that it absorbs moisture, and as moisture seeps into the brake fluid, the boiling point of the fluid is reduced. The result is a loss in braking effectiveness.Ans as such brake fluid should always come from a new sealed container.

                            G'day Big Trev
We arrived back home at about 17:00 yesterday from Coburg 725 km for the day, 3795 km since leaving home on the 6/4/2014.
Nice to have carpet under-foot again Lol.
                            Today the cleaning begins.
Thanks for the offer to assist with the brakes much appreciated.
We had camper trailer cover Zipper issues after our first nights camp at Swan Hill that frustrated me the whole trip.
Called into Southern Cross Canvas in Bayswater Vic. and they replaced the zip runner on the spot for $10. Great friendly service fixed instantly-Love it.
                            Cheers
