I have recently purchased a 2009 150 series Diesel Kakadu.
I looked at 3 different 2009 150 series diesel Kakadu 4WDs and have noticed that there appears to be 2 different models, or at least 2 different button configurations.
One version has 4/5 buttons on the dash in front of the gear stick (either side of the H4/L4 toggle)
On the left is a centre diff lock button and a rear diff lock button, whilst on the right appears to be a hill start assist on/off button and a +/- toggle (presumably for the hill start assist?)
This version does not have a Radar Cruise Control button on the steering wheel (bottom right of the central horn)
The other version (the one I have bought) only has 2 buttons on the dash in front of the gear stick (to the left of the H4/L4 toggle)
A centre diff lock and a hill start assist button (I think)
On the steering wheel of this version is a button which appears to be for radar cruise control (bottom right of the central horn)
This is my first foray into the world of Prados. Can anyone please help me understand why these apparently identical model cars have different button configurations? Have I bought a lower spec Kakadu? Or have I perhaps purchased a higher spec version?
I'm so confused.
As a point of note, this difference does not appear to be restricted to the 2009 150 diesel series, it is also visible in the 2010 model, and the 2011 model (as far as my searching on the carsales website can deduce)
