With your Rhino platform how far apart are the cross bars on the platform itself (the fixed ones)? Just wondering as I have the longer one and the positioning of the bars means we have to undo one of the fixing bolts to get our TraxRax on. It's not a huge issue, just a little fiddly. The longer platform does stick over the sunroof a bit but doesn't stop it from working, not that it's getting opened at this time of year LOL.

The MaxTrax mounting pin holes are 890mm apart. Now that I think of it the issue with mounting TraxRax related to the bolt used to secure the Pioneer tray to the SXB feet, not the positioning of the cross rails. We just got around it by undoing the bolt so we could slide the TraxRax leg bolt in over the top then just have to do the Rhino bolt back up again.

I leave the Channel nuts in the slot with the Bolt & washers in place to keep them secure. That way there's no worries about losing the fixings and you don't have to remove the crossbar bolt all the time.

Got new tyres couple of weeks ago and went with 265/70/17 BFGs. Very happy with them and heaps quieter and gripier on black stuff than MT 5 ribs I had on my 120. They performed well in Toolangi and Mt Matlock over the weekend.

And most importantly the PP sticker is on

Got the Runva 11XP mounted last Thursday in a hurry with a help of a mate for the weekend. Still got to tidy up the wiring near the control box but it came in handy to recover a stuck 100 series with broken winch and only rear wheel drive.

Very happy how the winch isolater switch turned up as well.

Ohh and the traction control on 150's are brilliant lot more responsive than the 120. Still getting use to the noise though.

Booked in for the 40K service at Nunawading toyota. Strange they wanted the car to stay overnight.... Apparently they are checking valve clearances and all being a "major service" ?????? bumm
So dropping it this evening and picking it up tomorrow.

The clearances should be checked on a cold motor (apparently) - hence keeping it overnight. My 40k service only took the day. The clearances were checked last though, or so I'm told.

Finally installed the awning.. very happy with the quality and coverage. Still have to do the ARB compressor and HID spoties.
