I Am after a bit of advice as my 1KZ "Percy" (sorry, I did name my 4by) is been an utter hog. I used to get 12ltr/100km average (bit of road, towing, town, offroad) but am now lucky to get 18ltrs/100km! Percy has done about 330,000km, we reconditioned the injector pump and had the injectors done at about 300,000 and it certainly helped, it was like I was towing a semi before having those done. The turbo boost is fine, we checked that when we did the pump (my knuckles still haven't recovered!) Perc is a little hard to start, but not bad by any means, still boogies along quite well and pulls like a bull. Any ideas? Also, is it worth keeping? I know its a time bomb, it wont be long and things will need repairing and/or replacing. Anyone got one with high mileage? Am considering getting an 80series LC instead but feel it would be a step backwards. I love my Percy!
